A press release from SCEI announced that beginning November 11, Ceramic White PS3s will be available in Japan. It comes with a 40gb hard disk and will retail at 39,980 Yen (tax included).
Dualshock 3 likewise gets a Ceramic White version, and will be made available beginning November 11 as well.
SCEI says they want to "meet a variety of users' lifestyle and preferences". A white PS3 is a nice change, but until they release a Blue version they can't meet my 'lifestyle and preferences'. But this is definitely a good start. At the very least, it's starting to look less like a freaking grill.
